VOTING INFORMATION

At the age of eighteen, an individual may register to vote at their village clerk's office, county clerk or Secretary of State's Office.

In order to vote in any election, an individual must be registered and have lived at the address where you register to vote at least thirty days prior to that election.

The Village of Jerome is divided into three (3) precincts, Woodside 8, 15, & 16. The Village holds a nonpartisan consolidated election every two years in April to elect officers to the Jerome Board in addition to general elections.

Polling places for those voters who reside in:

  • Woodside 8 - Jerome Civic Center, 2901 Leonard Street
  • Woodside 15 - Jerome Civic Center, 2901 Leonard Street
  • Woodside 16 - Jerome Civic Center, 2901 Leonard Street

Election hours are established statutorily, with polls opening at 6:00 a.m. and closing at 7:00 p.m.

Individuals may obtain an absentee ballot by requesting an application for absentee ballot with their village or county clerk.

Persons desiring to qualify as a candidate for nomination for any elective office in the Village shall file the required forms, which may be obtained from your village clerk.
