Christmas Tree Pickup

Christmas Tree Pickup will begin 8:00am, January 8th, and continue for four days until Thursday, January 11th, 3:30pm.  If you have questions, please call 217.546.2203.

Please keep in mind the following guidelines for the free pickup program:

  • Christmas trees collection will normally (weather permitting) begin on the second
    Monday of January. Trees must be free of any non-natural material (including, but
    not limited to – lights, tinsel, decorations, wire, etc.)
  • Wreaths, bunting, garland or any other type of evergreen decoration will be
    picked up, provided it is also free from non-natural material.
  • All items for disposal should be out NO LATER that 8:00am on the second
    Monday in January.
