COVID-19 Vaccination Appointments Available
New appointments for the Sangamon County Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 drive-thru vaccination clinic will become available today (March 9, 2020) at 9:00am for individuals in phases 1a, 1b, or 1b+. There are two options to register:

Are You Ready?
March brings thoughts of Spring, but it is also the start of the severe storm season in Illinois. The first week of March is storm preparedness week. This is a good time to check your emergency kits and make sure that you have updated them. It’s also a good time to make sure that you have multiple ways to receive severe weather watches and warnings. This can include your cellular phone, TV, Radio, and NOAA Weather Radio. COVID Vaccine Appointments
The Sangamon County Department of Public Health has just announced additional appointments at the State Fairground Mass Vaccination site. They are available to those that meet the guidelines for 1a, 1b, and 1b part II as defined at https://scdph.org/covid-19-vaccination-information/. Vaccine appointments can be made from the main SCDPH site at https://scdph.org/ or by phone at 217-210-8801. More appointment blocks are announced as the availability of vaccines increases.
