March brings thoughts of Spring, but it is also the start of the severe storm season in Illinois. The first week of March is storm preparedness week. This is a good time to check your emergency kits and make sure that you have updated them. It’s also a good time to make sure that you have multiple ways to receive severe weather watches and warnings. This can include your cellular phone, TV, Radio, and NOAA Weather Radio.
