Sonic Boom

The Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) has received confirmation from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Kansas City that the boom heard around 11:20 am was caused by a flight of F-15EX Eagle II fighter jets traveling at supersonic speeds.
