Boil Order
A boil order is in effect for all Jerome water customers UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Water used for drinking or cooking should be boiled for at least a full five minutes before use.
Water Shutoff and Boil Order
The Village of Jerome has shut off water to the entire Village in order to repair a main break. Crews are onsite
now and will turn the water back on as soon as it is repaired. The Village is issuing a boil order until further notice.
Water Main Break
We have been made aware of a water main break in the 1600 block of W Glenn. Due to the current temperatures and wind chills being very dangerous, work on repair will be delayed until tomorrow morning at 8am.
Snow Emergency 12/22 – 12/24
Village of Jerome Road Emergency
With anticipated winter storm for this week. This road emergency will go into effect:
Thursday December 22nd, 2022 @ 6:00am
until Saturday December 24th, 2022 @ 6:00am.
“To enable Village Jerome public works staff to remove snow along the main and secondary streets, It is being encouraged, whenever possible, to park vehicles in driveways and off of the streets,”
This road Emergency is anticipation of a forecasted snow event and near blizzard conditions with forecasted winds and sub zero temperatures.

Water Main Break
There is a water main break at 2600 Welch Ave. Welch will be closed from Glenn to Iles until repairs are finished.
NOTICE: Candidate Petitions to be Accepted
Notice is hereby given that the office of the Village of Jerome will be open from 10 am to 1 pm beginning December 12, 2022, through December 19, 2022, for the purpose of accepting candidate petitions or certificates for the Consolidated election to be held on April 4, 2023, for the following offices.
In addition, the village office will be open until 5 pm on December 19, 2022, to accept 2023 Candidacy Packets.

Village Board Elections
The Village has three four-year terms up and one two-year term that will be on the ballot April 4, 2023. If you are interested in running, pick up a candidacy packet at the office between the hours of 10 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Trick-or-Treat Hours
The village of Jerome will be having trick-or-treating October 31st from 4:30pm – 8:00pm.
Halloween Party
The Village of Jerome will be having Trick or Treat inside this year in the Civic
Center on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 10:30 am to 12:00(Noon) or until
supplies last.
The Village will be handing out candy and we’re asking for your help in donating
either candy or a monetary gift to purchase the candy.
We look forward to hearing from you and would appreciate any donation. Please

any questions or candy drop-off.
